ABOUT FLAVIA ANTONELLI

 

I am a social media manager, photographer, and video maker/editor based in Rome, Italy, passionate about sports and telling stories stories through digital media content.

​

In December 2017, I graduated from John Cabot University with a BA in Communications and a minor in Art History, and in 2019 I completed a 1st-level Master Diploma in Strategic Marketing and Digital Media Communication at JCU.

 

Since 2015, I have been working with the Athletics at JCU as a sports photographer and video maker, blending my love for athletics with my creative skills. Since 2021 I have been working also as sports activities designer and organizer for Athletics, as well as sports trips chaperone and leader.

Sports have always played a big role in my life—I was a competitive swimmer for +20 years—which has shaped my discipline, focus, and ability to thrive under pressure.

 

In 2019, I came back to competitive swimming and participated in international sports festivals in Athens and Pola with the JCU Gladiators, combining my athletic performance with my work in sports photography.

Beyond sports, I am deeply passionate about music and arts.
I worked as a live music photographer and video maker at the Roman live music club Chinaski Punto.

 

Since 2015, I have collaborated with Italian band Lateral Blast as well as other bands, events, and festivals across Rome.

 

My academic background has also given me strong analytical skills in cinema, art history, and media studies, enriching the way I approach creative projects.

Whether working behind the camera, chaperoning students on a sport adventure, or while designing an editorial plan for social media, I always bring dedication, creativity, and enthusiasm to every project.
