About Flewsplash and Photography

THE DECISIVE MOMENT, i.e. the moment I call "flewsplash"
As a swimmer, there's a specific moment, at the beginning of a race, when you just flew from the starting block, to dive into the water, but you're still on air. That is the moment the seimmer knows everything and nothing at the same time, the muscles are all contracted and the mind is full and light at the same time. That is what I call "flewsplash".

Why Flewsplash in photography? Well, I find the similarities between the two to be almost obvious!

There is a creative fraction of a second when you are taking a picture. Your eye must see a composition or an expression that life itself offers you, and you must know with intuition when to click the camera. That is the moment the photographer is creative.
